Novice racer on dirt track seeking some advice

They didn't say anything about squaring up the block and making the head surface true... Just you needed to remove .030 to get the head straight. . . depending where your piston is in the bore will determine the squaring you need

look and see who has the lightest replacement piston. . .

Don't put pics of your car here so no one will know what you're doing. . .


I would ***** about the F.I. rules , if they are allowing F.I. motors then are they making people pull the rollers. . .
Then you might want to get a mag motor, there rollers are better than the la's factory flat stuff. . .

As for the handling issue.... they don't want you doing anything, find factory sway bars and mount them without rubber bushings, find nylon and use nylon. . .if you have to machine it to work, do it. Same with the rear spring eyes as for the front control arms and being in dirt might not need to do the nylon there.
