I want to do a 2 tone paint scheme on my 63 valiant. I will use the blue masking tape. after unmasking and clear coating how do I get the edges smooth so that I can not feel them? Do I spray extra coats of clear on the 2 tone edges and wet sand and buff after drying????? The base for the graphic is a smokey grey and the main color is House of Color Tangelo orange pearl with extra pearl. all opinions appricated. thanks

yes always put extra clear on paint edges let tack up then clear the car.and repeat then sand your edges and buff..and then sometimes pinstripe the edge.if you want the pinstripe so you cant fell it you will have to wait tell the pinstripe dries usually over night.then put two or three coats of clear on the pinstripe dry and then clear the car that makes a professional looking job.the reason I say dry on stripe because the pinstripe paint is enamel.unless you tape it an spray the pinstripe.......hope this is a help and not a confusion..........Artie
