Headliner installation

I replaced mine last winter in my 65 Barracuda. You need a heat gun to stretch the headliner and work the wrinkles out. Also, you need clamps to hold the headliner in place while you are working the wrinkles out.Get the metal clamps, not the plastic ones, they are worthless. You will need about a dozen or so. I got mine on sale at Menards for about a $1 apiece. I had the front and back windows removed and replaced by a local glass co. Cost $125. Take your time! I ruined the first one when I prematurely cut the holes for the dome lights. I was also quoted $400 to do this. After doing this, I can understand the cost,, it is time consuming. After buying the clamps and the heat gun, this project cost me about $250.
