How many times has their relative had a Hemi?

I also shouldn't work with the garage door up. One guy pedaling by on a bike came up the driveway and offered "man, you spend more time restoring a car than anyone I know". I didn't know the guy and said, "wow, didn't know I had a project manager". He said he too has a classic car (Chevy?), but when I asked what he has actually done, it turns out he has mechanics do all the work. Not sure how he documents my labor. Most weeks I am lucky to get a few hours work on the Dart on Saturday morning.

Too many people get their impressions from the "restore my car" unreality shows where a team of 20 people plus untold outside vendors work on a car day and night for 2 weeks and most of the work happens off camera. They also throw tons of new parts at it like crate engines and body kits that most of us can't afford. FABO guys lambasted Desert Car Kings, but at least they took a more cost-effective approach to their rebuilds.
