Can I refinish my twin snorkel scoop?

Yeah, those crazy extra terrestrials with their fiberglass and their injection molded plastic. I heard after they made the pyramids they gave us the dies to stamp out all the body styles for the big 3 which we didn't fully understand until recent history...

It did come in a natural smooth plastic right? Not painted? I wonder if it can be buffed out with compound?
