I know this has been asked before by many but I'd love for the knowledgeable posters here to give me an idea.

I do have desktop dyno and all the flow numbers and cam card. However, my friends actual dyno tested mid-90's Camaro doesn't feel as insane as my car does when it is running right :) His car was dyno'ed at 427hp, crank, and having drove both my car feels more powerful. My 69 Barracuda may be lighter but we even both have the same rear gears though mine is a 4 speed and his an automatic.

Anyway here is my combo:

360 rebuilt with 10:2 actual compression KB hypertunic pistons, original crank turned .010"/.010", Eagle H rods. Factory windage tray. 2.02" heads with competition valve job and ported to flow 260 cfm/shady dell j-heads. M1 Single Plane intake, port/gasket matched. Demonsizzler custom built TQ. Large 1 3/4" primary tube headers. Mopar Performance 292/509 cam installed at 108 intake centerline. Crane 1.6 roller rockers.

I originally wanted to race the car so the car was built to use up to 150hp of nitrous. I no longer want to race but may still get nitrous for some track day fun. I also have thought of bumping up compression a bit and running that MP .528 cam.

Race them against each other and see. Feeling and being are two different things. BTW, the .509 is a larger cam than the .528, it's "Hyper-eutectic" pistons, and if the engine was built for NO2, you may want to verify the top ring gap was set properly if you are not sure. Being that the shop used those pistons knowing you were planning NO2, I'd verify they set the gap right...

No shop. Well he has a shop but engine builder is a one man operation, races himself with those pistons and nitrous, and builds many of the engines used Norwalk/Summit Raceway Park and all the circle tracks in the area.
