The first 2 rows of numbers you put up are not cast into the trans , the second row is the partial VIN from a 1968 car built at Hamtramack , in 68 they built B Bodies and A bodies.
H4 C 87622 is a CASTING number and pretty much USELESS to figure out what the trans is because all 833 4 speeds used the same main cast casting.
The B body shift mount is ahead of the trans mount pad and the A body is behind it , and assuming it's never been screwed with , it's pretty easy to figure out.
