rumblefish360 - No our kit does not require any welding. The gold plated brackets that Brad426 is reinforcing and welding to his K-member are not our kit. Our kit uses laser cut and cnc formed brackets that are 3/16" thick. They are bolted on with grade 8 hardware and do not require welding.
