Have to agree with Blown71Duster,
I don't see why anyone would spend 2K on a distributor especially since you can buy a stand alone computer that will fire the dual plugs for $600.00.
Let's see 2K for a single coil that will only fire one of the two plugs in each cylinder. 2K for a product that will throw less spark energy than the factory individual coil on pug setup. 2K for a product that will use mechanical advance and vacuum advance, vs a computer that will use a map sensor, temp sensor, hall sensor that will precisely measure engine speed and will allow infinite adjustability.
I see no rational reason for the "Chip Killer."
