this is rediculous!!
I went thru that with the MP ignition. $300 later, a then another ornage box, (which cost me two tows home), I called Don at FBO and bought his system. The entire MP kit was crap. Thru Don, I sent my dist to his affiliate in Calgary AB., to have it curved properly. Instead of all my timing in at 1700 rpm, I now have 15* initial and 34* total at 2800, And it screams!!!! Sweet!
Same with the AFB and all thier claims. Could have bought 2 new Holleys for the same cost.
You don't have to buy anything from Don. I really don't think he cares.
He's been racing before a lot of us were even born. I called him once in the middle of the day, and he answered me on his cell phone and help out on the spot!
Yes this hobby has gone out of wack with prices and lousy products and all their claims.
That why we meet here, right?
