Your Collections?
Don't really "collect" much these days.
My niece and nephew buy me assorted John Wayne items each Christmas. A lighter one year, a mug the next, a throw blanket the first year. All on display. And, of course, through the years I've accumulated a number of his movies on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray.
If you look at our video shelves you'd think that the wife and I collect movies. My dad is building us a cabinet that's 68"x68" to hold 'em all.
If you look at our library you'd think we collect books. The wife and I are avid readers. Her, anything she can get her hands on. Me, primarily by author: Robert E. Howard especially. Anne McCaffrey, Chris Claremont, well-written sci-fi.
But I guess the true collection is 6500 comic books I accumulated through my formulative years. I don't buy 'em now. Back when I was reading 'em the stories were good, the art was good, and the average cover price was 60 cents. Now the stories suck, the art sucks, and they're $4 an issue.
