So, about those cams for factory roller motors...

Are the ones in the major vendor's catalogs compatible, or are they made to work in a non-factory roller motor?

Is the cam/ lifter setup in the late LA (mid 80s to early 90s) the same as the magnums?

I'd like to go a couple steps up the cam ladder in my 87 318, but I've never torn into a roller motor.

You need to purchase a few books starting with hot to rebuild and then hot to hot rod my small block MoPar as well as a MoPar engines book. Your questions are valid but are major league basic.
