The " **** or get off the pot" association thread

I think the flpper can't see threw the $$$s here is the differnce from the enthusiasts. The flipper scours a huge radius and a setup network looking for anything cheap he can resale for a profit and knows ALL cars are worth more in boxes than on tires. The true enthusiats buys a hand full of cars at most and rebiulds them because they love the car haritage and body lines. So to say pay up or shut up is rediculos on a site where everyone already has a car or they wouldn't be here and can't buy ever car that they feel should be saved.Sure a flipper will have a few cars they like but chances are thay would sale those too if a good offer was made.i haven't been on the site all but I have noticed a few things. This is not a rant just trying to clear up why flippers get so much grief. And sure some cars are not worth restore to you and most others but some of thoses cars if left alone for another year or so(not bought by a flipper)"might" be found by some one that would fix it.I really dont see how parting a car is "saving" the art when you can buy about anything for these cars repoped,I do agree that it is "saving" buyers alot of money as new is expensive. For the most part entusiasts dont see flippers as enthusiasts but more as ambulance chasers. This is just my opinion of the differences and not directed towards anyone specific just clearing up why a flipper gets so much grief.
