I don't know, 3.23 gears could work ok and cheaper.

With the 2.74 first gear and the drop to 1.57 second gear, its going to still lug at certain speeds, the converter will be a big help.

I think your going to find out thou at 10-20 mph, 1st gear will be too much and 2nd gear not enough.

Yeah it still be better then 3.23 gears at 70 mph and get better mpg. I would rather have a 2.45 first gear and 2.45 second gear--oh well. The OD will bring the 4.11 down to 2.74 on the freeways, that will be sweet. Should pull mid to high teens mpg, depending how fast you go--me would do 80.
