traction bars wanted

How did SS springs get involved in this? I wouldn't use anything with a SS spring except a pinion snubber. Again I run homemade traction bars on a drag car and have for three years and NO bend axle tubes. Someone explain to me how a traction bar will bend an axle tube but a pinion snubber or Caltracs won't? If the response sounds logical I will accept it. I also have the latest version of the chassis manual and although there is a ton of good info in there some of it just doesn't make any sense. I guess my car is a freak of natural just Harley Davidsons or bumble bees. Since Harleys aren't supposed to be able to run, bumble bees can't fly and my car has straight axle tubes.
