Rear Crossmember/Spring Slider/Spring Relocater

I am back! My computer was down. Ok so from looking at a stock trunk my cross member obviously will not work. earthmover's plan seems like the way to do business, if you want the springs inside the frame. A couple good pieces of angle iron would do the trick I think. The simplest way I think would be to cut a piece of angle the length of the slider knock some holes for the slider to bolt it to on one side then weld it or bolt the other side to the frame. I have made zero progress on mine other than getting the brace tacked up in the car and cutting the plates to weld together for my front mounts. With a little hackin on the frame a guy could use the angle iron idea on the outside of the frame rails also. As for mounting on the bottom side of the frame rail, which is probably enough for most, it could be as simple as welding a plate to the underside of the frame to bolt the slider to. Front mount could be just like what is used in the mopar relocation kits.

Aside from my computer being down I've kinda had a lot on my plate. I don't wanna go into much detail but have had a few family issues. Dealing with the perils of unemployment also equals a lot of unenjoyment lol.

If any of my ideas were unclear or did not answer any questions let me know.
