small block build ?

ok things have changed im now going to stroke it and would like to use same cam, heads but will i be able to use the pistons i have or do i need to sell them along with the balanced crank i have a guy building my trans right now in Co and it will be pretty stout any suggestions on this stroker build looking to get 500-550 Hp and would like it to be real torquey.

Okay, firstly, you do not have a balanced crank, you have a balanced rotating assembly. The counterweights of the crank have weight added or removed to match the weight of the pistons, rods etc. The crank alone is balanced to nothing.

Sell it as a balanced assembly as the pistons are no good for a stroker. Longer stroke means shorter compression height pistons.

Difficult to suggest stuff if you've already said you're going to use the same top end and a stroker assembly....
