The first picture is my daughter Mallory LOL -- she was six then -- but I'm the one sanding the roof (about '99). 168 hours with 180 grit on the body and another 18 hours on interior parts ... no compressor, no D.A., and no fingerprints for a few months. The guy who painted it said I saved myself $3 grand taking it down to bare metal versus letting them do it so it was worth all the work.
The look on the neighbor's faces driving by was priceless. You'd think they never saw a lady standing in the missing back window of her car before or something.
