Here's a shot from the movie dazed and confused with the duster with slots. I personally think they fit the car great.

I grew up late 70's. I love the aluminum slots. There were all over, on everything, everywhere. They still look great. I would love to get a set for my Swinger.

brad446 is that the original grill? what year?
Nope; it was a 71 Duster and that's a 69 Valiant grill I put in it. I had a perfect sharktooth in it, but I sold that and put in the Valiant grill that I picked up for $10. I knew I was going to be selling the car so I swapped the grills, swapped the Dana 60 for an A-body 8 3/4, and swapped all the 4-speed stuff for an A/T and a single brake pedal to match.

wish i could mount the valiant grill in my duster but theres that rise in the middle of the hood mite like a little goofy

Slotted mags. Theyre not just wheels... theyre a way of life!!!

Go to Classracer.com, then on to the Nostalgic Super Stock section, and wade through the posts. I was up until 5:30 this morning reading threads and swiping pics, and haven't even come close to see it all. Plenty of vintage pics of all kinds of Mopars wearing all sorts of wheels, all brands of cars.. abandoned dragstrips and everything else that will darn near make you cry for the "good old days".
I was just a kid back then and i mss those times!

You don't have to be a member to view but it's a good idea anyway.
