The reason I asked, is, A blower is going on my '74 duster one way or another... But to be street legal the whole thing has to be 2" in the line of sight or less (measured from the top of the dashpad)
A roots 6-71 setup with one of the Dyers or BDS manifolds (with carbs & filters) measures 21.5" from engine block to filters.... 19" would be 2" above my dashpad (which is already 1" taller than an original dashpad)
I figured with an adapter like that, I could mill the carb mounting surface on one of my old Single Plane Intakes flat (they're at an angle) and knock a few inches off the height of the setup and remain street legal.
