5.9 EFI Swap

I used a Caddy doner for a tunnel. Leftover Derby car! I had to cut the arch between the tossion bar cross member and raise it up to clear the 727 tail in my project. Took some trimming @ coaxing, rivets and welding. Sealed it up and mounted my B&M on it. I replaced the carpet with a non molded replacement and made it fit sweet! Would never know! I am not cheap, just thrifty!

Probably a tad short, that would'nt look pretty!!!

you only need from the firwall to the end of the transmission, considering the dakota's have quite a long transmission hump I can't see why it wouldn't fit, and even if its short thats okay because thats what fab skills are for:D

on a side note one may try a later model crown victoria, I know there Ferd but they have quite large AOD transmissions and the hump has to accomidate it, and they can be found it most salvage yards (considering there ferd:D )

there are several tunnel configurations on here if you look. here is one example

Go to Youtube and look up JamesFreddys channel. He does autobody vids and his own personal project is a 72 Dart that he has done this swap to. You will need to search through a lot of videos to find the info you want but its all there. He has vids showing how he worked the tunnel to get the new tranny to fit and everything. I don't remember off hand if he made his own wire harness or bought one but the info for that is all there too. If you don't want to go back and watch a lot of vids he is a cool dude you can PM him there and I am sure he will tell you what ever you need to know.

Although I don't know if he is a member here but I do know he does read this site from time to time. So a lot of the info he used is prolly buried in this site somewhere.

I swapped an older mopar to TBI fuel injection from carburated I know its completely different going to MPFI but heres what I suggest

go to your local dodge dealer with the year make model and VIN (if possible) and get a wiring diagram for the truck your using the harness from. what I found out is that if I had of got the bulkhead pin out for the truck I removed the harness from there is only a few power wires that go through the bulkhead that are needed, give them power and theres one ground and the engine should run sitting on the floor
could you give me any advice on the wiring up and PFI for me 93 Dodge Dakota

Sorry trying to navigate around here can anybody shed light on the wiring up a 93 Dodge Dakota multi port feel injection 5.2

a place called hot wires can make you a harness,,,all you need is the computer,,,

I'd do that but doing this my brothers car and he's learning along the way so we are on a recycling budget I've Ben doing a lot of reading heard people have done it but using factory wiring harness but not getting any straight answers of what color wires that need to be hooked up The motors in the car and wiring harness is hooked up just nead to supply power and hear it put

search mopar manuals on CD, there use t o be a guy that put modern mopar service manuals on CD, unless u can find a paper version service manual of the donar vehicle, i dont know what year, but the dealers do not use a book any longer its all on there internet site,,,if you know a mechanic he may give you the code to get on to that site,,,
