Hmmmm....the thought has crossed my mind now that it's sitting here in my garage. I wasn't too keen on the "look" at first, but she's growing on me.
The Bro is looking to get $8K and I truly have no idea if that's in the ballpark in today's soft market. It's not the original 273, but everything else is and the interior is pristine and the body appears to be free of rust (I've pretty much climbed all over it but haven't pulled up the carpet).
I didn't want to insult my kin by offering something less. As you can see from my garage pic, I'm knee (nay, neck) deep in my 69 Fbird restoration but this has provided a pretty cool distraction.
The plan was to get 'er running (she sat in his driveway for 10 years!) and safe, then put it up on eBay or something of the like. But if you folks thought $8k sounded ballpark (I realize there are lots of variables you couldn't possibly know yet), I would consider it.
