Yes I am putting the lower crossmember back in, although it may be designed differently as well. The previous mounting points of the crossmember as I said before were basically just welded to the floor sheetmetal. Although the accident turned the square tubing into an oval, and I didn't have any welds break, I feel a lot more comfortable with this setup. The only issue I had with it was keeping the 2x1 high enough up to not interfere with the torsion bars sliding in.
