5.7 hemi build--first step completed

Right now my engine builder has to get a few of his 1200hp boat engines out and down to Florida for some show--That is the first thing he will do is determine will a sonic check how good or thick the walls are and the general condition of the block-The machining was done on the block when I picked it up in Illinois--It was going to go into a twin turbo drag car but the driver was killed when a truck fell on him and I bought the block from the crew chief. Before anything is bought Allen and I are going to do some MAJOR research on exactly the options we have.I have been on the phone with STU from Inertia motor sports to get his opinion on the products that are on the market,Most likely I will use his big valved 5.7 heads,He put me in the direction of k1 products but my builder uses Callie's stuff in all his builds ,The first bump in the road may very well be the .40 over pistons but we will see--And yes you are correct the 6.1 block is very limited on over-boring If I was
told right .20 is all you can do.--I will keep you guy's up-dated but I'm taking this slow and only want to do it once--Steve
