Not sure about the PCM and tranny issue, but otherwise, it is straight foward and the computer just needs a hot wire with key on. I'm not sure if there self grounding, but a negitive wire is nothing to make and ground right.
If you can get/swap the PCM for a manual trans set up, it would be that much easier to do. Trade one in @ MoPar or purchase one out right.
