Center console question 68/71 dart

I have a 71 dart /6 - I'm looking to put in a center console instead of the column shift.

I have access to a center console and shifter with linkage out of a 68 dart - is that compatible for my 71?

Should be. If you have the carpet out you should see a round factory plate at the front drivers side hump. this is where your vertical shifter linkage will mount.
