Hi Wayne. Nice chattin' about 70 Dusters with you at the WMMC kick-off banquet last week. Don't know if I'll make the World Of Wheels show but I'm sure I'll see you and your Duster at the WMMC shows this year.

Tim

Sorry I missed the kick off meeting (I am a member of WMMC also). Been traveling for work and out of town. Would be nice to meet you guys face to face some time.

Got my regestration info for the World of Wheels. My Cuda is ready to go.

Maybe see you there.

Well Dustpan340 and I met together last night at the move in for the World of Wheels in Milwaukee. It was nice to talk with him and his friends.

Man I must tell you, the pictures of his car do not do it justice. It looks great in the pictures but is stunning in real life. The word pristine comes to mind. He has put together a very balanced combination of stock and custom parts which all work very well together and make the car feel rich, but still real.

Very nice job on your car Dustpan340!

Hope to see some more FABO members at the show this weekend. My Cuda is parked with my club member's rides in the Hoodlums area. I will be at the show Saterday and Sundayf rom noon till closing. Ask any of the Hoodlums for Tractor Steve if you care to meet.

Photo was taken around 1980. Sure miss the track, Broadway Bob and all.

Wish I would've seen this BEFORE I went to the World of Wheels today. Saw both of the cars! Beautiful. I sold my Dart in December...

The picture in your avatar was that your dart? If so I used to see it every once in awhile when I was in LG. Couple summers ago I was cruising through one night in my Dart and I seen you go by tried to chase you down but it was a weekend and all the flat landers were up so I lost you in all the dam traffic.

Funny! Yeah, I live in Williams Bay now and I actually work for an auto shop in Elkhorn. I sold the Dart in December. The only other dart I recall seeing in the area was a purple 67 Dart convertible in Delavan a few times.

There is actually a quite a few Darts around this area. Most of them hardly ever get driven. Once in awhile you seem them at the various shows are drive-ins around. Which shop you work at? I am surprised you have never seen my Dart sitting out for sale, I live right on the main drag through town. I finally sold it couple of weeks ago.

Hey moparites,, I know someone in that area must have seen a 76 F Body roadrunner sometime in passing,,The Guy who bought it was 18 back in 79 and would be sneaking up on 50 now,,That lil red road chicken and what happened to it may be whats keeping my sanity . If your old enough to remeber it or whatmay have happened (death by rust) or worse PLEASE let me know,,Thanks Don

1973 Dodge Dart Custom 4 Door I just picked up a couple of weeks ago.

225 runs like poo, but I want to get it in good running shape to cruise to the shows this year and then when doing the body work over winter either go with an 8 in the bay or a decent turbo and head work on the 6.

I have been missing it since my last run in October 2011. Going to Great Lakes Dragway this Sunday to get my fix. I have a chassis cert scheduled and then hope to get a few trips down the strip.

I remember when this jet truck lit the tower on fire:D

Good times for sure!!

Does anyone remember a black '70 340 Dart which sat out in front of an old farm house with a for sale sign on it for a few years right on Hwy 45 close to the Bong motel?? A friend of mine bought that car in the late '70s or very early '80s. Still hasn't done anything with it after all this time:( The car was painted black over the original Plum Crazy if that rings any bells...

got my NEW plates..and I can not believe that someone before me never took these...

Sweet catch! Will look great on that bad *** car of yours. It is very surprizing no one snatched them up before.

Got the fish certified but have not yet been down the track yet - either due to weather or family committments.

Same issue on me not making the Mopar swap meet, Wayne. This past week/weekend has been the birthday marathon at my house. My rule is family has to come first, so no time for the swap meet. Just too damn much going on to get it all in!

Nice plate there Dustpan. Never thought about one like that. Just went
with the collector plates.

Brian....wish I could of gotten collector...but you have to send pics...and my car is not stock for collector...could of gotten hobbiest...but them things are butt ugly...so I came up with these...and who knows how long I'll have it anyways...always another car out there to play with...DEMON comes to mind :blob:

Yeah, that's kind of surprising that no one snatched those up yet at this late date. Sweet.

What's the criteria for the collector plates as far as mods go? I've seen plenty of muscle cars with them that are certainly not stock. Not full blown pro streeters though, maybe more like "day two" mods, tweeked a bit.

from what I was told when I tried to get plates...send in pics of your car and they now look them over...well I know my car is not Stock...and the Hobbiest green and yellow is way to ugly for my car lol I'm sure just wheels and tires they aren going to make a peep on...but you and I know cars with stroker motors or big blocks built...headers..NOS...blowers...pro chargers...roll bars...street slicks...4 liked rears and are raced......these are far from staock and still carry the collector tag...my opion..wrong....it may be a COLLECTOR CAR...but its not STOCK anymore...they should run the Hobbiest tag...same price...will be interesting what the state does when you get pulled over by our state tropers in blue and see what they say.......but me..I stay with the personal MOPAR plate on my car...one of coarse not the state two they give ya:D
