Purchased a 72 Duster from quartermilepass

Well I figured I post a little up date from the extended weekend on the progress of the Duster. Didn't get much done this weekend as I have a 66 Falcon for my father I am trying to get done as well( So my Dad's car unfortunately comes first lol). As for the Duster I removed the seats to get the old rubber flooring out to get a better look at the condition of floor. Overall I am pleased with the condition of them. I will not know for sure till I soda blast them but it looks like it will only need a small patch on the passengers side. The nice thing about this car is it still has the original paint on it. It was never repainted. There are even the chalk marks still on the roof where the vinyl roof was. As well as all the doors, trunk and engine compartment stickers still intact.
As for the engine we did get her to fire off for us (still need to set the dwell). Did a minor tune up to get her started (points, cap condenser and a balist resistor). Currently I have the steering colum apart as lock cylinder is broken but it should be an easy fix. It is going to need the carb replaced or rebuilt(its currently missing linkages and other parts) so we were thinking of maybe swaping the intake for a 4 barrel and 600 cfm carb.Main thing is just getting it running so we can asses the rest of the drive train. Well that is it for now. Any input is alway appreciated.

P.S
Found two build sheets so far one behind the glove box and one in the rear seat.

Thanks
