I'm talking about the stainless rockers (can't speak for the aluminum), & the "tip" that rides the valve stem, what rockers do you have that has a clip on the tip roller? All i've seen are the ones that teeth on one end or compressed on both ends.
Only the aluminum rockers that Ive used have the clip at one end of the roller pin and teeth pressed at other end.
ive gotta say this though, it's pretty sad that the aluminum rockers out last the stainless when it comes to pin failure and engine gong bye bye.lol
Ive changed the aluminum one out after the bearing wear the races...but never had one fail, because see...they are RACE PARTS..and racing parts, just like race engines, should be checked on a regular basis...just like that bronze intermediate gear on a roller cam or the valve lash on a solid cam...but i guess some dont like to tinker, then stay away from solid cams, billet roller cams, roller rockers etc..lol
