50 Years the Return to Bonneville

OK, here's the deal. The softest records (easiest to set a new one) are in the "E" engine classes. So since we all know that the best breathing engine in the world is a Hemi and they respond well to both boosting and fuel let me suggest a plan. Does someone out there have an early Hemi that cleaned up would be under 260 cubic inches? With a nice cam and a blower the Avanti could be used to set two new records. One on gas (racing gas) and the other on fuel. The Avanti currently holds records in "E" Altered and Competition Coupe at El Mirage. The gas record is only 2 miles per hour off the Bonneville current record and the fuel is 2 miles per hour faster than Bonneville. So a Chrysler, Dodge or Desoto Hemi just might be the ticket. So anyone with one want to go set some reocrds and get their name in the record books. If either of these records were to be broken the driver would not only get the record but would also join the very special group of people in the 200 mile per hour club. So who wants in?
