how much HP

Well, it takes about 470 crank horsepower to get to 113 or so. That should be high 11s, depending on gearing and tires. I'll assume 3400lbs, say 28" street tires and a mild set of 3.91s. I would go 360 mains Eagle cast crank, Eagle H beam rods, Diamond dished pistons set to .010 positive deck, Edelbrock RPMs with the corrected bits done and a quick smoothing of any CNC leftovers. I'd run an Air Gap, a solid flat tappet in the .580 lift and 255-260 duration@ .050 range, on a 110 centerline and a Holley Street Avenger 770. You will be able to runs high 11s, mid 11s, and very possibly low 11s with the right gearing and convertor. You could go lower witht eh cam, but you would need to lose the quench (or some of it) to lower the static ratio to work with a smaller cam. Not a big deal really, but I hate giving up power if you dont need to. The milder version is the same setup, pistons at .010 down in the hole, and either a solid or hydraulic FT. Hydraulic in the [email protected] range, or a solid in the 240°@.050 range. You loose about .3 of static but you keep the dynamic reasonable with that cam. So it will be an 89 octane engine too.
