bodyman found
He's a bodyman my wife knows, he's semi retired, lives about 20 min. from home. He suggested to me to take off the rear bumper and the door handles. He will also take out my old windshield and put a new one in which I will pick up and pay for, using his discount. He said the best way to do it, so I will not scratch the paint too much, is for him to paint just the engine bay, after I will install the engine and then he can do the rest. He asked me if I wanted to display the car at shows. A real cheap and quick job would cost around 1300, but I want better. Probably around 2500 for something you dont mind looking at. He said the most expensive paints are the "pearls" although it is possible to add a little pearl to paints. He said for me to call him when I am ready (no big rush,,, but .. as long as he starts before the snow flies---------Oh by the way he was pleasantly surprised to see how solid and in good shape my car was. He took almost a month off this summer and drove towards the west, he stopped in at Merv's. Check out
