Canadian Built 74 Plymouth Valiant Questions.
Ok,I worked for Dodge back in the 70's and when it came to Ma Mopar it was a crap shoot as how cars were equipt. Now my boss was great for taking sales bank cars that were more or less factory rejects as we called them. In 75 we were still getting in /6 9'' small bolt Darts and as said above also some equipt with the large bolt discs. Never did ("I") see any large bolt drum A cars,or 10''drum small bolt at that time. Not saying that they were not made... And we did get in some strange cars. Now this is getting away from brakes but some were,,76 Dart SE with every option you could get on a Dart,,,BUT it came with Manual steering. How about a 75 Charger that was a Charger on the driver side and a Cordoba on the right.Hood emblem was a Cordoba, steering wheel Charger pass side dash emblem Cordoba and so on.It even had different tail lights. Color combos like Yellow paint Blue vinyl top and Green interior.Chrysler was going bankrupt in late 74 and they had no quality control and line workers though every day may be their last. Aspens were new then and didn't come with spare tires just a rim.Rubber shortage so we were told. Many cars didn't run they must of pushed them on the carriers. We got a Aspen with no oil pressure and when we got the Factory reps ok found the only cam bearings in the engine were the front and rear.Another had a 8 1/4 with no rear cover. Just to name a few. So when it comes to Ma Mopar back then you got to say "never say never" Anything could have been possible.
