Nothing wrong with that. I had a '70 Malibu right before I got my '67 Dart.

My buick is just a little faster than his!....

He probably forgot to connect one bank of plug wires again, darn it....\\:D/....just kidding. Yes Joe, I am also a fan of all things loud and fast, mostly Mopar, but there are models of every make that I'd own, I think even Studebaker!

Your car looks like she could easily buckle those quarter panels!! :burnout:

Welcome aboard, Let's go racing........ Nice GXS and looks like it's getting a good bite :burnout:
Jump on in and enjoy we all have our opinions and learn something everyday .

Hey neighbor, Naperville here. Nice ride Joe. Like a lot of the folks here, I appreciate all types of muscle cars. Was a GM guy myself for the last 30+ years. Joined the group here when I got my Duster last summer. Will be hitting Rt66 for some test and tunes this coming season. Will keep and eye out for your beast. Look forward to seeing her in person.

And welcome to FABO.

Pat

Joe Riv- I own all 3 American maker's products...they all made impressive stuff and they all made turds. I don't have a classic GM, but my fairly modified '99 Regal GS is a very well rounded performer (in '99 there wasn't any domestic RWD sedans, and the GS was 'bang for the buck' champ; not to mention I had a corporate letter from GM and the car was used at the PGA golf tourney @ Sahallee in Sammamish, so I got a steal on it!). I love my '69 Valiant 2-dr sedan and my '85 Gran Fury AHB car- both are low-mileage originals (the cop car was in the fire department, never beat on). My only Ford is a '72 F250 "Camper Special" with a built 410 Super Marauder, not a performance rig...but absolutely a stupid torque machine

Nice looking car Joe. At one time I had a 68 GS400 convertible sharing the driving duties with my cuda and loved the go it had.

I'll admit it, I love Buick and Olds A bodies and my first old car was a Malibu

Welcome. You have one foot in the same boat as us Mopar guys, since you are non-Chevy, and must deal with rarer parts, higher prices, and be a little smarter to make things work. I don't know the GM world well, but I understand that even engines and trannys don't always swap between Chevy, Buick, and Pontiac. I get tired of going to car shows and seeing rows of identical SBC w/ Edelbrock carb, and everything bought from a catalog. I am probably just jealous.

this is part of what makes mopars special. if we could buy every part off the shelf it wouldnt be any fun OR original lol. ive always had a soft spot for the GSX
