scoop placement

thanks for the welcome! pretty cool to have this resource.

i saw that link and the scoops look to be about 4 or 5 inches from the rear edge but i'm still wondering about the distance from the side... looks to be around 12 inches but i want to get reeeeal close if possible.

i'm working on a 74 dart swinger that i just inherited from my grandfather. he had always wanted to make it a little meaner:evil: but lets face it, it was a grocery getter. he bought the car in 74 new. it only has 47 thousand on the 318 but it sat outside most of its life. (at least it sat on a concrete driveway)
