Identify this rear end
You absolutely sure it's a 9? Ferd made an 8" that is very similar, as well as a larger on (big Linc) 9 1/2?.
To separate the 8" from the 9", there's one bolt below the pinion. IF you can get a socket and extension on the bottom bolt, it's an 8, not a 9. The 9" requires a combo wrench on the one bolt.

To me that thing looks like a LOT of hard work. You'll have to remove all the 4 link junk, and I have no idea what you'll need to do with those hubs. Looks like a lot of trouble. Hope you didn't pay much for it.
