I would agree with Adam on the crank,rods and pistons. I think I would go with a set of ported Aluminum Magnum R/T 2.02 heads and gasket matched AirGap intake with a roller cam in the 240 @ 50 range with a big Holley on top. I would also zero deck the pistons. This would allow you to get up around 11.5 : 1 compression on pump gas.
