Haven't been on in a while guys forgot my password lol.... anyways I had finished my engine and took it to the track and now messing around again and here is what I have been working on with the rad!

Old setup was HHR setup

I have all aluminum pump gas engine and car didn't over heat on the street with the HHR setup but it had a temp creep I didnt like and went to to my new setup... old setup was 27.5" single pass rad with HHR and now to 31" double pass rad with twin 14" fans now. I like the rad wells in front of core away from the heat of the aluminum engine and more capacity! hope it all works as well as I like.

more room and k member has been modified since then also. I added the strap back I cut out for the HHR fan setup to fit.

rubber mounts to help with flex and also I have a bracket I made that ties across the bumper brackets for lower support if needed.

been going slow at it but mockup is all done now time to do some detailing. I also added 1/8" metal wide strip the width of the upper core the whole way across for strength! the whole setup is real solid!

thats awesome....I've wondered why this isnt done more often on more peoples race cars.

I couldnt ever do it b/c I wouldnt want to give up the A/C components.

Very cool. Just by eyeball I wonder about those long support spacers - maybe a filler gusset of some sort between them or even a triangle gusset for each one?

The spacers are more of a personal preferance thing how far I wanted the fans in the engine bay! trust me its REAL solid in the pic without the lower bracket that ties across the bumper brackets that holds the bottom of the rad. also the hole for the upper rad hose will have a small piece of exhaust pipe welded in there for a smooth look and add some strength also.

not my quickest pass but I raced a beautiful duster in the right lane that went a 9.93 and I went 9.72 on this pass! what a fun race going down the track with another fast old mope!

Full interior
Full exhaust
MT 315 radials
Raced on local 93 pump fuel
All lights and wipers work!
All steel except hood
Engine is 574CI in that vid

you obviously have great taste in muscle cars...but I also like how neat, clean, and organized your car looks...

its obvious that you're a craftsman who really enjoys building your car

Awesome! I could almost feel the Gs :)

craftsman wow thx! I'd say im just particular though.

Here is what it looks like with the pipe tacked in! I had to have it expanded some so the hose goes inside but its pretty much a 2" exhaust pipe X 1" long. you can see in the one pic the plate I welded across the back side to give it some strength and the pipe insert will help also but real solid all together.

Ill try and get some other pics! the headers though are the TTI/Mazzolini 2-2 1/8th setup that I had modified to fit RB mopar with -1 heads to clear everything.
