I guess. I'm not really that sensitive about it but in my opinion there should be decorum involved with these transactions. Kinda like honor among thieves if you will.

Low ball offers are sleazy if you ask me. Blackbomber said it pretty well in that if you come in with a super low offer it really means you're not serious about buying something.

It's similar to my other thread where guys try to sell cars for way over inflated prices. Often they are not real serious about selling.

But hey you can call me out for getting my panties in a bunch, that's fine. I'd be willing to bet you would react the same way though to someone who offered half of what you were asking, even if it was junk like you say. Of course you say no thanks and move on but somewhere it is still bothersome because you have a certain arbitrary price in your head. When someone thinks that your arbitrary price is too high, you have to be a little perturbed, it's just human nature. That's all I am saying.

What's your tactic for buying something you don't want to pay full price for?
