Not technically A-Body, but....

Right now there is no video of this beast running because I haven't fired her up yet. That should happen by Sunday at the latest. I don't have alot of room in my shop so I don't have any good 3/4 shots to show the side of this thing, but I have to tell ya it looks AWESOME with those Draglites on it! Alot of people questioned why the hell I'd get rid of the 3/4 ton suspension in lieu of the 1/2 ton...simple answer is this, there were no great wheel choices for the 8 lug set up. Period. I wanted Draglites on this thing, so 5 lug 1/2 ton was the only way to go.

It's been a LONG 8 weeks since I started tearing this thing down for the build up. I've learned alot of things, both good and bad. There is pretty much NO rust to contend with, not serious rust at least. All the cab mounts are good, floorpans in pretty good shape, suspension bolted right up, pretty much an easy project. Financially it turned out that I've spent about 50% more than I'd budgetted, but the end result is going to be pretty damned cool. I've always liked "different", and this certainly qualifies.
