Cam and Stall Convertor
I have to agree, I don't understand the cam choice for a drag only car....but with that said, I would definitely go with a lot more stall than if it was a street/strip car (since that cam would probably work with a stock converter). Since your cam says it makes power to 5600 RPM.... I would guess your max HP would be in the low to mid 5000 RPM range...Sheesh!....I don't know, this is not a combo I ever imagined....I can tell you that you should be looking for a converter that "stalls" just a hair past your torque peak for the best ET (I'm guessing a 3500 stall??).
Honestly, for a drag only car, I would say get a LOT more cam, and a 8" converter.
