Aren't those Thumper cams mainly designed to "sound" big? This is quite a split on the I/E duration. Have you used this one before? Just curious.

No, they are just like the Whiplash cams from Hughes. They are designed to make the most out of stock compression ratios...while sounding good. ...and yes I have used that same cam in a customer's otherwise stock 318 with thermoquad and headers.
