Flip job!

So getting back on topic, What do you feel is top dollar for a clean, correctly done A body? I see it as theres going to be 3 categories.

Correctly restored cars

Original survivor cars

modified cars.

Modified cars are going to be the hardest to put a value on because its more about personal taste and how modified it is.

Personally, as in my opinion I think 20K would be about tops for an original/restored A-body, barring something highly unusual/special/unique (Hemi Dart, Sox and Martin Cuda, etc). And that 20K would have to be for something like a 340 4 speed demon with buckets, console, good color in awesome everything is original or done right shape. Once you get past 20K you're in decent E-body/good B-body territory.

I think anything newer than 72 or pre-67 would top out a lot,lot less than that. Again, my opinion.

Modified cars, it depends a lot. There has to be some consideration of the $$$ invested in the hardware (usually about .50 on the dollar), and how much money would need to be spent to uncustom any unappealing bodywork.

But what do I know, I think my car is worth 12K. LOL
