5.9L LA powerd '88 Wrangler....
Well I just started putting my engine together yesterday. Here are some pics of the goodies and of the install:
HP116CP Hyp. flat top pistons with 5cc valve reliefs.
Comp Cam & Lifter kit / Cloyse HD double roller timing set / Clevite77 P-series Main & Rod bearings / MOPAR oil pump shaft w/ gear.
After spending time to clean the block and crank, installed the crank and torqued the mains down to check for clearance with plastigauge.
Everything checked out to spec. so added some assembly lube to put the crank in for good.

Two of the eight pistons installed. Rods are torqued down and checked with plastigauge for clearance.
That is it for now. My brother and I ended the nite with getting four of the eight pistons installed.
