I scored a 440

If it is a Class "C" (van nose) motor home it is most likely a 400 or 440. If it is a Class "A" (flat nose) motor home and it is from the mid 70's and earlier it is most likely a 413. Being you said it has a dash shifter it sounds like an "A" so I would bet it was a 413.

I am looking for a motor home for a hunting rig and if you are looking for a big block maybe we could do some trading instead of parting out the motor home.

Let me know.
