Well, there is some, but it's not as bad as it was before, and it's certainly not offensive. However, I think it has more to do with the type of mufflers used. My Wife's '04 Mustang has an X pipe as well with 2 chamber flows, and around 19-2100rpm, it'll make you simple-minded after about 100 miles. What rpm are you getting the drone?
Edit: I can tell you this much: I don't have a tach, so I can't really confirm what rpm this thing runs at highway speeds, but most of what I hear is wind noise.
