Mowing with child on your lap

I was riding on the fender of a full size McCormmick (spelling?) Deering tractor when we were clearing the property to build our house.
My Mom and I dug the foundation ditches for the house, and while me and my younger siblings were at school during the day my Mom dug the line and hold for our septic system.
