Mowing with child on your lap

Lots of us have done it.....I have too. I got too close to an oak tree with a front wheel and it climbed the trunk and tipped over backwards. Thank God my little wasn't on my lap. The neighbor down the street was mowing with his Lawn Boy along side his driveway. Little did he know that his toddler son was following him and when he stopped at the street and pulled the mower backwards he cut his son's leg off. I heard the screams almost a block away. The young lad has a prosthetic leg and is doing fine. The thing is that accidents happen and a bit of safety and common sense can prevent bad things from happening. tmm
