i am converting my 69 barracuda to a 4-speed transmission... i know that this is a stretch but i have never done this before and was wondering if anyone kinda has a guide or instruction or something for me lol... i have to install pedals and everything its a complete swap

you also require a 4 speed transmission hump to make room for the shifter rods etc.

I did this to my 69 Barracuda. Clutch pedals, depends on your clutch if you get a centerforce you will not need the spring. Z-bar and various bushings, go to Mancini they have everything you need. Shiftrods for your 4 speed and various bushings there. You will probably need a different length driveshaft. If you have a 360 you will need a bushing to go on your crankshaft to connect to the 4 speed tranny. Then there is your bellhousing, I have a scattershield, but it just depends for your. There is also the mounting point on your bellhousing and your frame for your Z-bar. I am sorry I cannot remember the actual names of the parts, but Mancini and other places will have what you need. Just call if you need too the guy at Mancini is very knowledgeable and helpful, also Tonys parts is a good place to check.

I will need to go through this myself with the son's 76 Duster project. We are in the parts gathering stage. Here is a source for the frame part:

The above pic looks like a simple backing plate. Does anyone have dimensions for the holes and size? I understand that one of the holes is for the ball stud, how about the other two hole? Is that used to bolt in the bracket?

yeah i have a bell and all the shifter arms and such i should be set but thanks for the info mancini will def be a help
