Guys using non-race (stock type) front shocks with success come in!

I have my front end pretty low already. This gives the car a bit of a rake, which looks cool, but isn't the best idea.

What it seems to be doing is maybe giving too much weight transfer and wants to bog, or maybe its shocking when it hits the stops. The car has a TON of front end travel. (If I remember its 9").

You can't see it really well, but the car feels like it stops when the shocks reach the top of their travel-sometimes it is worse than in the vid. Varying burnout and clicking around with the rears hasn't really helped. It didn't do this with the shocks I threw away, though I do seem to remember the front diving during braking at the top end of the track.

I don't think my oil pan is in the same danger yours is Myron- haha!
